Our Experience

We understand the rooms where decisions are made. And we know how to get African voices into them.

Our track record spans movements, institutions, and markets. We have unified organisational voices to strengthen global feminist movements. We have secured high-level policy engagement and international media visibility for African scientists and health experts. We have launched continental platforms that position African-led health research as a catalyst for investment and growth.

From harnessing the cultural energy of major sporting moments to drive public health conversations, to equipping small businesses with the knowledge to unlock the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.  Our work results in social impact the world can see.

Across every engagement, we work to ensure that African expertise is visible, trusted, heard, and acted upon.

The Oracles

IFA has roots across the continent from Lagos to Nairobi, Dakar to Addis Ababa, Casablanca to Yaoundé. Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience across healthcare, agriculture, education, and beyond, with deep fluency in the political capitals where it matters most: Addis Ababa, Brussels, and Geneva.

Uzoamaka

Uzoamaka Madu

With experience delivering integrated campaigns across healthcare, technology, energy, and agriculture. Working across the key political capitals of Addis Ababa, Brussels, and Geneva. Advising international institutions and private-sector leaders on campaigns that drive measurable policy influence and shift public opinion. As Managing Director of IFA, I lead strategy and advisory work. I am from Enugu, Nigeria, a place steeped in national history and where currently two distinct worlds meet. The energy of academic excellence and innovation, where fast thinking is critical, coupled with the calm of scenic hills and greenery nestled at the foot of the Udi Plateau, where you submit to slower thinking. Both necessary.

As Strategy Director at IFA, I lead multi-country communications and advocacy strategies that amplify African expertise globally. I bring strategic depth, stakeholder fluency, and storytelling rooted in African contexts. Operations Director

With over 15 years of multi-sector experience, I work with global senior leadership and support African founders and startups to build scalable, investment-ready businesses. At IFA, I support the Managing Director in turning bold visions into executable strategies and implementing scalable processes, structures, and systems to enable IFA to grow efficiently and compete regionally and globally. My expertise spans organisation development, operations and program management. I am based in Nairobi, Kenya – Africa’s ‘Silicon Savannah', the only global city with a wildlife park as its backdrop. Here you can close a business deal downtown and hop on safari to see the “Big Five’ all in the same afternoon.

I am a communications and project management specialist focused on social development and digital strategy. My work centers on social media management, institutional communication, and community building. At IFA, I lead digital engagement and platform growth, ensuring our social presence reflects strategic intent and cultural fluency. I bring structure, creativity, and a strong commitment to sustainable impact. I am based in Morocco, where bargaining in the souks is practically a national sport, proof that Moroccans know how to find creative solutions long before the rest of the world catches up.

Creative Lead

I'm a storyteller at heart. I work across copywriting and visual communication to bring ideas to life. As Creative Lead at IFA, I develop brand stories and integrate creative concepts that translate strategy into compelling narratives. I bring analytical thinking, creativity, and cultural insight to purposeful, high-quality creative work. I'm based in Ethiopia, the country that gave the world marathon legends and a coffee culture so strong it turns any setting into a ceremony.

Cedric Moudio

Media Relations Lead

I don't just tell stories, I make sure the right people hear them. With more than 8 years navigating media landscapes across Cameroon and Africa, I've built a quiet obsession with finding the angle that makes a story impossible to ignore. Bilingual, regionally rooted, and fluent in the unwritten rules of African media. I bring that to every conversation at IFA. Based in Cameroon, home of the legend Samuel Eto'o, 280 languages, and enough regional dishes to eat something different every day for a year. They call it Africa in Miniature. Funnily enough, it's the one place Cameroonians themselves can never quite define. We're still working on that.

Strategic Communications Consultant

Emyloia Kpadonou

With over five years of experience across strategic communications, advocacy and digital engagement, I have worked on campaigns that turn complex issues into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences. Bilingual and shaped by working across West Africa, I bring a perspective grounded in adaptability, curiosity and an understanding of how communication changes across audiences and contexts. At IFA, I hope to bring that combination of strategic thinking and hands-on experience to the team. I am from Benin, a small West African country with a big history—the birthplace of Vodun and home to the Dahomey Amazons, the all-female military regiment that inspired Hollywood’s The Woman King. Proof that we may be small on the map, but our stories can travel far beyond our borders.

Gbemisola Ojediran

Digital Marketing Intern

I am a communications and social impact professional. Trained as a social media manager, my work centers on storytelling, development communications, and audience engagement; building narratives that move people and platforms with equal intention. At IFA, I support the communications team in implementing IFAs' marketing strategies, executing campaigns across social media and web platforms, and contributing to the messaging frameworks that connect client priorities to the audiences who can act on them. I bring creative energy, a strategic eye, and a commitment to work that is both creative and accountable. I am based in Nigeria - home to the Ifá oracle, one of the world's oldest and most sophisticated systems of knowledge and wisdom. Long before modern communications theory, The Yorubas were doing what we now call strategic messaging: translating complex truths into stories that communities could receive, understand, and act on. It is only fitting that a Nigerian sits inside IFA, carrying that same tradition forward.
